Garden Birdbath

Project Level: Easy. No skills needed.

What you’ll need:

Clear plastic plant bowl (it’s wide and shallow)

Metal planter pot or glass jar

Super Glue

Paint Pens or acrylic paint and brushes

Plastic table cloth (one for the table, and I cut up another for individual work stations)

Cups for water if using paint and brushes, and disposable plate for palette

Optional: solar fountain (like this, from Amazon)

Directions:

Paint the underside of the clear bowl (water will go in the bowl, so the design is on the underside).

Depending on what you use for the base, you can paint it or leave it plain. Keep in mind that what you are using for the base might need to be inverted so that bottom will be the platform for the bath, as seen below.

Once paint is dry, glue the bowl to the base.

*As you wander around the dollar store, think outside the box. The supplies I’ve listed are from a project we did, but you can deviate from this depending on what you find!
